Thanks to its high content of nutrients that benefit our health, broccoli is one of those vegetables that you cannot miss in your diet.

This rich and magical vegetable, originally from Italy, was introduced to the new world during colonization. It is characterized by its richness in vitamin A, B, C and K. In addition, it contains zinc, potassium, phosphorus, iron, protein, fiber and a long list of nutrients.

Its consumption helps the body to reduce the risk of diabetes and other chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease and is a powerful modulator of the response of the innate immune system.

It is one of the vegetables most recommended by nutritionists, both for the long list of nutritional contributions as for its low caloric content. It can be eaten raw, steamed, boiled, in sauces, in dips, in soups, and in wok among others.

It is important to note that specialists recommend consuming broccoli in the most natural way possible to maximize its properties, especially anticancer properties.

On this occasion, to follow my series of fresh, healthy and low-calorie foods, I present my version of the broccoli cream. It should be noted that, despite calling it Broccoli Cream, I have not added cream or milk. The result is much lighter.
