I learned this recipe many years ago with the books of my favorite Italian pastry chef, Luca Montersino. Since then it has become my favorite recipe as a base for my much-requested Lemon Pie.

It is a very easy recipe to achieve and, in addition, it helps a little to lower stress levels, since the fact of touching the ingredients directly with the hands becomes a kind of therapy that never fails.
